Manager, Occupational Therapy | Rady Children's Hospital | San Diego, CA

JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the clinical mentoring, supervision, and program development for the discipline. Works collaboratively with site managers to address the needs of the discipline team. Leads discipline-specific performance improvement efforts and serves as clinical subject matter expert. Reports to the Director, DS Clinical Programs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Appropriate licensure/registration/certification in clinical discipline

Five years of clinical experience, including mentoring and employee development and training.

Ability to coach, counsel, and provide general supervision and performance feedback to others, as demonstrated by prior leadership experience.

Ability to identify opportunities for quality/process improvement and implement rapid cycle improvements.

The ability to develop, monitor, and manage financial operations of discipline.

Knowledge of competency and regulatory requirements for clinical discipline.

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and ability to work in a Windows environment.

Ability to effectively facilitate meetings and lead decision making .
