Physical Therapist - Outpatient Rehabilitation Therapy
This is a regular, hourly, variable (8s & 10s), day shift position,
1.00 FTE, 40 hours per week.
This position is eligible for our full suite of employee benefits,

Scale starts at $31.63. Placement within the scale is dependent upon
years of work experience. The salary scale is reviewed on an
annual basis for market comparison and may change with the market.
Schedule: 9:00am - 6:00pm
Responsibilities
The physical therapist delivers and supervises others in the delivery
of services, upon referral, by performing evaluations and developing
individual treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes, actively
participates in discharge planning, implements the treatment program and
reassesses treatment results. Services are delivered within the
framework of a team approach, including appropriate disciplines,
significant others and the patient. These services are delivered
in compliance with ethical standards, policies and procedures, national
and professional standards, state practice acts, and current accepted
state of the art practice.
Qualifications
AA graduate of an accredited program of physical therapy.
Possesses valid Washington physical therapy license, interim permit or
temporary permit. CPR required.
Must demonstrate knowledge of growth and development and possess the
ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret
the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's
requirements reflective of his/her specific needs and provide the care
needed by utilizing current accepted principles, practices and
theoretical models of the physical therapy profession. Ability to
deal with difficult situations as they occur. Ability to cope with
continual interruptions and display a large degree of tact when dealing
with physicians, patients, employees, visitors and the community.
Ability to make decisions and have the willingness to work with the
realization that errors may be of serious consequence. Ability to
follow directions, retain learned information, cooperate and function as
a part of the team. Must have strong organizational skills,
ability to accept change as beneficial to the organization, department
and patients.
Must be able to operate all equipment in the physical therapy
department; apply indications and contraindications according to patient
diagnosis and standard operating procedures. Must have working
knowledge of office equipment utilized in the Rehabilitation Department.
